Credit in the Straight World is now also a podcast. When I embarked on the journey to make this film I realized living in NYC that nearly everyone I would tell my story to be it customer, bartender, waitress, or stranger they could relate someway. Wether it was the story of me having to finance my own vision working countless service jobs or the vivid stories of the Nervous Breakdowns showing up wherever they pleased to stage a show with no invitation, or just the idea of me putting on a dress, heels and guitar and becoming a street Courtney Love people had a lot to say, laugh or relate to. This isn't just about art. This is about identity and Credit in the Straight World is a simple podcast with them where we talk about what our day job is versus our "real" job and sometimes its just laughing through the tough times.
